CoMET Training Program
The Computational Materials Education and Training Program (CoMET) is a five-year project sponsored by a $3-million grant from the National Science Foundation. The program aims to educate students from a variety of STEM disciplines in the development and implementation of Density Functional Theory (DFT) as a means to solve complex problems in materials science and new material discovery.
U.S. citizens and permanent residents currently enrolled in a graduate program at Penn State are encouraged to apply for fellowship opportunities. Other training opportunities are also available to international students.
