1993 As co-inventor of the Ryan/Holmes Technology for separating the associated gases from enhanced oil recovery projects, Mr. Holmes holds four patents. He is also the co-athur of several technical papers. Holmes is known internationally for his management acumen. After negotiating the purchase of ALTEC International, Inc., a brazed aluminum platefin heat exchanger business, and taking over as president, the company grew from 9.2 million in sales with an operating profit of 750,000 dollars in 1985 to 31 million dollars and operating earnings of 9.5 million dollars in 1992. During his thirty-year career, Mr. Holmes has been vice president and manager of the Gas Processing Division of Koch Process Systems, Inc., Westborough, Massachusetts, and manager of engineering of its predecessor, Helix Process Systems. (In 1991, the Holmes brothers acquired this business and renamed it Process Systems International, Inc.) Other positions Holmes held were vice president of process technology for J.F. Pritchard and Company, Kansas City, Missouri, and varioius process engineering and supervisory positions with the Badger Company, Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has been involve in many international projects, including four years in residence in Hague, Netherlands. Mr. Holmes has served on the Board of First Bank, Milwaukee and on the advisory board of numerous civic and charitable organizations. He has an M.B.A. from Norhteastern University.
