Robert G. McVicker is responsible for worldwide research and development, quality assurance, scientific relations and regulatory compliance for Kraft General Foods.

Mr. McVicker joined Kraft, Inc., in 1986 as senior vice president of technology and corporate quality. In 1987, he was elected an officer of the corporation by the Board of Directors and promoted to vice-president, technology and corporate quality. With the establishment of the Kraft USA group within Kraft General Foods in 1989, Mr. McVicker was appointed executive vice president, technology and quality assurance. The next year he was appointed senior vice president, technology, quality assurance adn scientific relations.

Prior to joining Kraft, Inc., Mr. McVicker was employed by the Procter & Gamble Company (1964-1986). He earned an MBA from Xavier University, Cincinnati, in 1970.

Mr. McVicker serves on the Illinois Institute of Technology Board of Trustees and is a member of the Conference Board (member of International Council on Management of Innovation and Technology), the Institute of Food Technologists, Chicago Section. He chairs the oversight committe of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Food Safety and Technology and is a member of the Regulatory Scientific Affairs Council of the National Food Processors Association.
