1992 Dr. Donnalley spent his entire career with General Electric Company, from 1943 until his retiremet in July 1984. Upon retirement, Dr. Donnalley was vice president in charge of the Coporate Environmental Programs which he established and organized. This organization was responsible for environmental policy developent, medical research in the environmental field, internal corporate consulting and major negotiations with federal and state environmental organizations. Dr. Donnalley began at General Electric Company in chemical process research and in managing process and plant design and construction. He progressed through the company in various research and development positions and served as general manager of two business departments - insulating materials and semiconductor products - and of the lighting research and development department. His interest in engineering education is evidenced by his service on the College of Engineering Industrial and Professional Advisory Council and the Adivsory Board of the Leonhard Center for Innovation and Enhancement of Engineering Education. He was a member of the Cornell University Engineering College Advisory Council for fourteen years and served as chair of the Chemical Engineering Advisory Council there for three years. Dr. Donnalley received a dotorate in chemical engineering from Cornell University. Current as of 1992 |
