Lincoln A. Warrell
1953 B.S. Chemical Engineering

President of the Pennsylvannia Dutch Company for more than twenty years, Lincoln Warrell started in the candy business with no previous experience. Today, Mr. Warrell is a successful manager and owner of five candy companies. The Pennsylvannia Dutch Company has sales of 15 million dollars and employs 185 people. Mr. Warrell also is president of Katharine Beecher Candies, chairman of the board fo Melster Candies, and a partner in the Holly Investment Company.

Throughout his career, Mr. Warrell has served his community in a variety of civic capacities. He is past president of the Diocesan School Board of Harrisburg, past president of the Carlisle Rotary Club, past director of the United Way, past director of the Carlisle Y.M.C.A., and past director of the Cumberland County Historical Society. He currently serves on the board of directors and executive committe of the National Confectioners Association.

Mr. Warrell has maintained a close affiliation with Penn State. He is a member of the Mt. Nittany Society and a life member of the Alumni Association. Through the Pennsylvania Dutch Company and in his own name, he has contributed significantly to Penn State and the College of Engineering.
