Executive vice presient of the Bechtel Group, Inc., Mr. Brush is a national leader as an engineering and as an engineering corporate executive. His expertise in nuclear, petroleum, and electrical engineering serves the infrastructure of energy suppliers in the United States. As executive vice president for Bechtel, Mr. Bush is the executive sponsor of research and engineering, information services, personnel, public relations, procurement, facilities, and management services.

During his tenure with the world's largest engineering construction company, Mr. Brush has held a variety of positions, including president and division manager of engineering, vice president and deputy general manager, and senior vice president and sponsoring director of pipeline, refinery, petroleum, and chemical projects worldwide.

A fellow In the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Mr. Brush was awarded the A.S.M.E.'s 1980 James N. Landis Medal for "outstanding personal performance related to designing, construction, and managing the operation of major steam-powered electre stations using nuclear of fossil fuels" and for "humanitarian pursuits in his profession." Mr. Brush is active in civic groups in the San Francisco area. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Medical Research Institute of San Francisco and the World Affairs Council.
